How to Use Velora

Creating Your Account

1. Go to velorastudio.in and click "Start Free"
2. Enter your email and create a password — or continue with Google
3. Verify your email by clicking the link sent to your inbox. This is required before generating any video.
4. You are now logged in and land on your Dashboard

What's Included in the Free Plan

• 20 Compute Credits to start immediately
• Standard stock footage library
• Standard AI voices in 40+ languages
• 720p export with Velora watermark
• Script editor and subtitle styling tools

Your dashboard is your home base. From here you can:

• See all your past videos — click any video to re-edit or download it
• Check your credit balances in the left sidebar (Compute, Video, ElevenLabs minutes)
• Start a new video using the ✦ New Video button
• Access all platform features via the left navigation menu

Navigation

Velora uses three types of credits. Understanding them helps you predict costs before you render.

How Credits Are Calculated

Compute Credits depend on voice tier and video duration:

• Standard voice: 10 credits × minutes of video
• Enhanced voice: 20 credits × minutes of video
• Premium voice (ElevenLabs): 30 credits × minutes + EL minutes

Video Credits vary by AI model and scene duration:

• Budget models (LTX, Grok): 1–5 credits per 5s scene
• Standard models (Wan 2.5, Hailuo, Seedance): 6–20 credits per scene
• Premium models (Kling, Runway, Veo, Sora): 10–80 credits per scene

Click ✦ New Video from the sidebar to start the step-by-step video creation wizard.

Step 1 — Choose Your Topic or Script

You have two modes:

A. Topic Mode — The AI writes the script for you

1. Type your video topic (e.g. "How black holes are formed")
2. Set the video duration (1 minute up to your plan's maximum)
3. Pick a language — Velora auto-detects your country
4. Pick a visual theme (Documentary, YouTube, News, Travel, Educational, Cinematic, Horror, Mystery, Comedy, Vintage, Cyberpunk, or Minimalist)
5. Pick an aspect ratio: 16:9 (YouTube), 9:16 (Shorts/Reels), or 1:1 (Instagram)
6. Click Generate Script →

B. Script Mode — You paste your own script to skip AI writing entirely. This mode is also pre-filled automatically when using URL to Video, PPT to Video, or Text to Video tools.

Step 2 — Pick a Voice

1. Browse available voices filtered by your selected language
2. Click the ▶ play button to preview any voice before selecting
3. Choose a voice tier: Standard, Enhanced, or Premium (ElevenLabs)
4. Adjust voice speed (0.5× to 2.0×)

Step 3 — Select Visuals for Each Scene

For each scene you can choose:

• Edit each scene's narration text directly
• Reorder scenes by drag-and-drop
• Delete unwanted scenes

Step 5 — Subtitles & Style

Subtitle options: Off, Burned In (baked into video), or SRT File (separate file for YouTube).

14 subtitle styles available: Classic, Bold, Minimal, News, Cinematic, Neon, Drop Shadow, Pure White, Retro VHS, Gradient, Karaoke, Viral Hook, Pop Style, and Modern Clean.

Step 6 — Background Music

• Browse curated tracks organized by mood, filtered by your theme
• Preview tracks before selecting
• Adjust BGM volume so music doesn't overpower the voiceover
• Creator+ users can upload their own music (MP3/WAV)

Step 7 — Review Cost & Render

This screen shows you the exact credit cost, your current balances, and the output resolution. When ready, click 🚀 Start Render.

Step 8 — Download Your Video

• A real-time progress bar shows exactly what the AI is doing
• Typically takes 2–10 minutes depending on length and complexity
• When complete, click Download to save your MP4
• Video is also saved to your Dashboard library permanently

After rendering, or by clicking Edit on any Dashboard video, you enter the full canvas editor.

Story Panel

• Edit narration text for any scene
• Add new scenes, reorder by dragging, or delete scenes
• Click a scene in the timeline to select and preview it

Visuals Panel

• Search stock footage by keyword and swap any scene's visual
• Generate new AI video/image scenes directly from the editor
• Upload your own media for any individual scene

Audio Panel

• Change the voice for the entire video
• Regenerate voiceover for individual scenes after editing the script
• Swap or adjust background music and volume
• Adjust voice speed

Add a professional talking-head AI presenter to your video from inside the editor's Avatar tab.

1. Click the Avatar tab in the editor sidebar
2. Browse and select an avatar from the gallery
3. Drag and resize the avatar freely on the canvas preview
4. Choose a position preset: PiP (corner), Fullscreen, Center, or Custom
5. Adjust scale using the slider (0.5× to 5.0×)
6. Enable Smart Avatar Mode to have the avatar appear only at key moments (intro, transitions, outro) instead of throughout the entire video — saving credits while feeling more natural

Avatar Availability by Plan

Avatar Studio (Standalone)

The Avatar Studio lets you create standalone presenter-only clips without building a full video — perfect for short ads, explainers, and social content.

Autopilot is Velora's fully automated video agent, available on the Creator plan and above. It works like a conversation — you describe what you want, the AI handles everything.

1. Go to Autopilot from the sidebar
2. Type your video request: "Create a 3-minute YouTube documentary about climate change, English, cinematic style, no watermark"
3. The agent confirms your preferences (voice, subtitles, duration, etc.)
4. Click Start — the agent runs the full pipeline end-to-end without any further input
5. When done, your video appears with a download link

The Templates library offers ready-made video configurations for popular formats — YouTube, Instagram Reels, LinkedIn, finance, education, podcast clips, news, and cinematic trailers.

1. Browse the Templates page
2. Click a template you like
3. Enter your specific topic in the popup
4. Click Use Template — Velora pre-fills the theme, duration, aspect ratio, subtitle style, AI model, and even the voice tone for you
5. You land on the Generate page ready to create

Velora offers 24 specialized tools for specific use cases. Each tool is designed to solve one problem exceptionally well.

Brand Kits are available on Studio & Enterprise plans. They maintain consistent visual identity across all your videos automatically.

Each Brand Kit contains:

• Logo — Appears as a watermark overlay on every video
• Primary Color — Applied to text elements
• Font — Choose from Inter, Montserrat, Roboto, Georgia, Oswald, and more
• Watermark Text — Optional text watermark

How to create a Brand Kit:

1. Go to Brand Kits from the sidebar
2. Click + New Kit
3. Upload your logo and fill in your colors/fonts
4. Save the kit
5. In the Generate wizard (Step 7) or Editor, select your Brand Kit to apply it automatically

Integrations require the Creator plan or above.

YouTube Integration

1. Go to Settings → Integrations
2. Click Connect YouTube
3. Sign in with your Google account and grant permissions
4. Your channel is linked — publish videos directly from your Velora Dashboard

YouTube integration auto-generates SEO-optimized titles, descriptions, and tags for each video.

Team features are available on Studio & Enterprise plans.

• Invite team members by email with role-based access (Admin, Editor, Viewer)
• Share Brand Kits across your entire team
• See all team members' video projects in a shared workspace
• Joint billing under one account

Inviting a team member:

1. Go to Team from the sidebar
2. Click Invite Member
3. Enter their email and select their role
4. They receive an invitation email to join your workspace

Top-Up Packs

Run out of credits mid-month? Buy a top-up pack instantly from the Billing page. Top-up credits expire 30 days from purchase date. Multiple pack sizes are available.

Cancellation

Cancel any time from the Billing page. Your plan access continues until the end of your current billing period. No penalties.

2. Copy your unique referral link or code
3. Share it via WhatsApp, Twitter, LinkedIn, or any channel
4. When a friend signs up using your link, you both receive bonus Compute Credits
5. Track your referrals and rank on the Referral Leaderboard

API access is available on Studio & Enterprise plans, allowing you to integrate Velora into your own applications or automate video creation at scale.

1. Go to Settings → API Keys
2. Click Generate New Key
3. Copy your key — store it securely (it won't be shown again)
4. Use it with the header: Authorization: Bearer YOUR_KEY

Velora supports 40+ languages with native AI voices for most. Your language is auto-detected from your location, but you can always change it manually.
